Procedural fees
If an endoscopy procedure is to be undertaken in a private facility you will receive a fee estimate at the time of consultation or during the pre-assessment appointment with our practice nurse.
Endoscopy procedures in a private facility may be covered by Private Health Hospital Cover, Medicare and an out-of-pocket (Gap) charge. The fees will vary dependent on the nature of the endoscopy procedure and the facility it is performed in. Most patients with Private Health Hospital Cover will have an excess to pay, determined when you arranged your Private Health Hospital Insurance policy.
Patients without Private Health Hospital Insurance can pay to have procedures in a private facility.
